Cressbrook North Kipper Creek prospect · 1993
Sixty-one metres, and the number nobody followed up.
One reverse-circulation hole, drilled by CRA in October 1993 and stopped when the rock got too hard. Every lithology zone and every 2 metre assay from the original ledger, in three dimensions.
Turn the hole, pull the zones apart, click any interval, or light up a single element. Historic data from a public-domain report, presented as it was recorded. Not a resource and not a JORC public report.

The hole, zone by zone
It starts as one continuous 61 m core, sawn down its length. Drag to turn it, scroll out to see the whole hole, scroll right in to grain scale. The slider breaks the core into its ten lithology zones. Click a zone for its log and every assay in it, or pick an element to light up only the zones that carry it.
Zoom into the cut face and the sulphides resolve: chalcopyrite brassy yellow, sphalerite dark and resinous, galena as bright metallic cubes, pyrite pale brass. Grain counts are scaled to the ledger assays, so the 36 to 38 m sample is crowded and the tuffite is nearly bare. The slim strip log beside the core carries copper on the hanging-wall side and zinc on the footwall, log-scaled, with gold as spheres. The core is drawn at 2.2 m across against a real 14 cm; dip and azimuth are as recorded, 60 degrees toward 245 magnetic. The numbered list under the model is the keyboard route.
The ledger
Every sample, as recorded
Thirty-one 2 metre reverse-circulation samples from the CRA drillhole ledger sheet. Values below detection are shown as recorded. The mineralised zone is shaded; the peak sample is highlighted.

Source: CRA Exploration Pty Limited, ESK EPM 6087 drillhole ledger sheet RC93EK8, geologist P. Magner, in Geological Survey of Queensland open-file report cr025220. Transcribed from the scanned sheet and reconciled row by row against ALS analytical batch ST7083-0 and the GSQ h_Sample record, which agree with the ledger. The one-page drillhole summary plate for this hole (Figure 6 of the same report) has its element headers offset by one column, so that copper reads under lead and zinc under silver; someone corrected it by hand on the archive copy and the correction never reached the printed plate. That plate is not used here.
