Seventeen exploration permit applications across Queensland, every one ranked against the state's complete public geoscience record before a peg went on the map.

The portfolio

Seventeen applications. Three explorers. One engine.

Between 22 July and 1 September 2026 the Fable family lodged seventeen exploration permit applications across Queensland: copper, silver-lead-zinc and phosphate under Eirzan Copper, bauxite and gold under Kinkosa Critical Minerals, rare earths under Valdur Rare. Every one was ranked by the Fable engine against the state's complete public geoscience record before a peg went on the map. Every one is an application, not a grant.

The seventeen applications sit in seven districts: the Esk Trough south-east of Kingaroy, the Connors Arc west of Mackay, the Toomba Fault corridor and Mount Whelan in the far west, the Lawn Hill Platform phosphate belt near Riversleigh, the Weipa plateau surfaces of Cape York, the Coen and Tate River inliers, and the Cloncurry district at Selwyn. • Copper · 514 sub-blocks

Cressbrook North and South, Toomba North East & West and South, Connors West, Mackay West. Volcanic-hosted massive sulphide, IOCG-family and porphyry systems.

  • Rare earths · 234

Tate River, Coen Corridor, Selwyn. Regolith-hosted and sediment-hosted rare earths on fertile granite country.

  • Bauxite · 221

Dulhunty East Extended, Dulhunty North Extended, East Weipa. Lateritic gibbsitic bauxite on the Weipa plateau surfaces.

  • Phosphate · 200

Riversleigh, Babbling Brooke Hill. Georgina Basin mudstone phosphorite in Queensland's only producing phosphate province.

  • Silver-lead-zinc, copper-gold · 100

Mount Whelan. Carbonate-hosted silver-lead-zinc with an untested magnetic body beside it.

  • Gold · 39

Ayres Rock SE, Texas North. An epithermal system's flanks and a never-drilled rimmed magnetic plug.

Sub-block counts are the register's available figures (Toomba South 146 nominated, 143 available; Dulhunty East Extended 94 nominated, 92 available after two restricted-area cells were excised at assessment). Selwyn (EPM 29684) is numbered on its departmental acknowledgement and was awaiting publication to the register when checked. Applicant entities: Eirzan Copper Pty Ltd; Kinkosa Gold Pty Ltd, which trades as Kinkosa Critical Minerals; Valdur Rare Pty Ltd. The deposit system named is the search image each application was written to test, not a known orebody.

Walk the ground in three dimensions.

Each subsidiary's Active Assets page opens every one of its permits as a real terrain model: open elevation data, the lodged sub-blocks, the historical geochemistry and drill holes that exist on that ground, and the mineral system it was applied for.

Copper · Silver · Phosphate

Eirzan

Nine applications, 814 sub-blocks. Copper across four deposit systems from the Esk Trough to the Toomba Fault, silver-lead-zinc at Mount Whelan, and two Georgina Basin phosphate permits beside Queensland's only phosphate producer.

Eirzan Active Assets →
Bauxite · Gold

Kinkosa

Five applications, 260 sub-blocks. Three bauxite permits on the Weipa plateau surfaces of Cape York, one of them adjoining the operating mine, and two gold permits: an epithermal system's flanks and a rimmed magnetic plug nobody has drilled.

Kinkosa Active Assets →
Rare earths

Valdur R

Three applications, 234 sub-blocks. Tate River, Coen Corridor and Selwyn: rare-earth positions found by reading the state's whole assay and radiometric record, with the carrier mineral and the magnet-metal fraction to be measured before anyone celebrates.
